Specialist data:
Intended use of the Amsat system
The basic principle of the operation of the Amsat system is the measuring of the electrical conductivity of biologically active parts of the human body, which give information on the condition of the internal organs and interconnected systems of organs.
The Amsat automated medical diagnostic apparatus is intended to aid clinical physical diagnosis of the functioning of the organs of the human body on the basis of localized current flow characteristics on reflexogenic Biologically Active Zones (BAZs) on the skin. The interaction between six biologically active areas of the human body and every organ sets up a "question-answer"potential. The failure of organs to answer to the “question” call and the quality of the answer of every organ to the “question” signal gives evidence as to its functional state, displayed in detail as a percentage value, with notification of whether the organ is in an acute or chronic state.
Software support makes possible an integrated and differentiated graphic and localized evaluation of the functional condition of the organism and of segmented neurological systems connected with it, as well as the internal organs of the patient. The Amsat system can be used both in medical and research contexts.
The Amsat was designed on the basis of research by R. Voll, H. Pflaum and others.
Functional principles of the Amsat system
The basic principle of the operation of the Amsat system is the electrical conductivity of biologically active zones on the human skin.
The Amsat system consists of an apparatus for the transmission of a signal, which automatically scans 11 biologically active zones on the skin of the head, body and extremities using an impulse with positive polarity (22 directions) and with a frequency of 10 Hz. The electrical test signal, which acts on the patient during the diagnostic process, generates physiological values for the organism.
The electrical signal received via the testing apparatus is transmitted to a PC into a diagnostic sub-program, where, on the basis of a set of mathematical theorems which are the scientific fundamentals of the Amsat system, carry out the process of recognising the picture of the of the condition of the patient. The information is then sent to a further decision-making sub-program where an analysis of the electropotential of the Biologically Active Zones on the skin is created, along with the degree of deviation above or below the permitted physiological boundaries. This information is converted into the format of a “phantom” (a computer-generated picture of bodily systems and organs).
The information gained in this way is displayed on the computer screen in text form and as a graphic, both of which can be printed. The use of computer graphics gives the possibility of showing all the organs and tissues of the patient together with the percentage deviation from the norm. The Amsat system does not carry out the electropotential analysis of the Biologically Active Zones over a fixed period, but rather as a continuous annotation that lasts until the moment that a complete picture of the electrical process has been generated, with no pauses between measurements.
Notes:
Testing on the Amsat system has no influence on daily electrocardiogram testing (using a holter).
Brief information on regulatory diagnostics
On the basis of research in etiological therapy, i.e. treating the real cause of disease, dysfunctions are defined as the cause of reduced cell resistance, changes in cellular regulation and finally as damage to organs. The fundamental idea that morphological changes in cells are the cause of disease (Virhov) is based on the assumption that the cause of those changes is pathological dysfunction. It is necessary to locate that dysfunction as long as possible prior to the development of localised processes. In accordance with the findings of H. Pflaum (1979, 1982), disease and physical changes are usually only the continuation of functional disorders in the regulation of hormonal and nervous systems over a period of years.
The tendency in medical examinations is to the early discovery of a diseased state, limited to, and comparable when changes are discovered in the organs of the human body in the earliest stages. For example, biochemical blood analysis, electrocardiograms, x-rays and other diagnostic methods are not able to give us details about pathogens and pathological attacks of diseases and incorrect vegetative regulation in these early stages.
On the basis of the development of modern regulatory therapy, "epicentre theory" is becoming more and more widely applied today. The idea of changes in regulation comes from specific epicentres which occur in cases of infection of the mucous membranes of the mouth (1910), from the theory of "toxification of the epicentre" (1930.), "allergy theories" (1950. – 1975.), the theory of "neural pathology", right up to today’s understanding of the fundamental meaning of non-specific reactions in the mechanism (Sudakov et al).
The causes of regulatory disorders can be chronic infection, changes in tissue, exogenous substances etc., which act as epicentres, or areas of neural or hormonal imbalances, all of which eventually manifest as the symptoms of disease.
O. Bergman (1984) investigated epicentres and areas of dysfunction (bacteriological and non-bacteriological) in relation to bioelectric impulses that stimulate the regulatory systems of the human body, disturbing their functional state. The concept of epicentres in the classical sense was, unfortunately, neglected, and as such does not attract the attention it deserves in present day medicine. The definition "regulatory investigation" jis appropriate when we accept the fact that other factors which exist outside the classical "science of epicentres", such as cuts, drugs, physical and psychological shocks etc. cause similar changes in the non-specific defence systems of the organism.
Thanks to the use of modern methods in regulatory diagnostics (bioelectrical testing, thermography etc.), considerable advances have been achieved in etiology and the pathogenesis of the diseased state of the organism, in the sense that there are increased possibilities for preventative care in the case of early diagnosis and timely correction of such states. People with diseases which have built up resistance to therapy, or people who suffer from conditions with an unknown cause can now, with the aid of an individual programme based on regulatory diagnostics, get objective information about the functional state of the organism and all deviations from the norm in the functioning of the internal organs.
The Amsat system has been approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. Scientific and clinical trials confirm the reliability of the Amsat system is at least 82%, which places it on a par with exceptionally reliable equipment used in medical diagnostics, such as ultrasound, electrocardiograms and x-rays.
- information to be obtained on the functional state of all 49 organs of the human body in the format of a graphic of the human body, in a very short time period (up to 5 minutes);
- the functional state of the organism to be ascertained in a way that displays physiological characteristics and pathological changes in the organs and systems of the human body;
- an evaluation to be obtained of the state of the organs by using professional equipment on a PC, in a graphical, textual and verified format;
- the effectiveness and results of clinical physiological, natural and Eastern therapies to be checked. This is used by therapists who heal with their hands or with needles, specialists in millimetre (microwave resonance) therapy, therapists who work with bioenergy, physiotherapists, phytotherapists and others. A quantitative (percentage) evaluation of changes and the effects of the therapy can be obtained.
- a dynamic analysis of therapeutic preventative measures can be obtained by experts across the medical spectrum;
- a database of results can be managed and analysed, and output of results and documentation created (in colour if desired).
The Amsat system can be used:
- for diagnosis of infectious disease among large population groups;
- for the testing and evaluation of the effectiveness of medical treatments, rehabilitation and other therapies;
- for the evaluation of the functional state of the organism and harmful effects of industrial and environmental factors;
- for the evaluation of the suitability of professional demands on a given individual, and the functional capabilities of the body;
- to assist medical professionals in tracking and examinations (screening, internal and specialist examinations etc.);
- as an additional method of examination during a course of therapy, and in ascertaining the degree of spinal damage and degenerative dystrophy in spinal disorders;
- for a wide spectrum of applications in testing the functional and adaptational capabilities of the human body;
- for conducting differential diagnoses of the pathogenic mechanisms of development in changes in the organs and systems of the human body (localised primary changes in the organs or segmented vertebral system);

The Amsat system cannot be used:
- when the patient has one or more extremity missing;
- if there is any significant change to the skin (inflammation, large wounds, skin disorders etc.);
Important!
Even though there has been no documented case in medical practice around the world of any negative effect of the Amsat system, in Croatia tests are not carried out on patients who are fitted with a pacemaker, or on pregnant women.
